Timberman is a scenic half-ironmanin New Hampshire.

The transition area is set next to a beautiful (but cold) lake.

Swim start is a time trial. I don’t like that because it forces you to pass hundreds of swimmers from slower waves, and doesn’t allow you to draft faster swimmers.

Bike course is almost an out-and-back. First part of the bike is hilly, second part is fast and flat, and third part is hilly (and “ok” fast).

Run is hot, not too hilly except two long uphill sections you’ll run twice (2 loops).
